Working with the amazing Jonathan I was asked, Is Wrong Side Creations, me? Or is the company its own beast?
What’s in a name?
I had to think about that for a second. For the longest time I tried to separate Wrong Side from me. Like I would say “We” and “Our company” but who is this we? It’s just me, no one else. I meet the clients, I quote the clients, I bill the clients, I do all the social media, the website, the design work, the hustling, the networking, etc. But somehow I never wanted it to be associated with me.
I am a flawed human. I struggle with imposter syndrome, and quite frankly never felt there was a seat at the table for me. But there is a seat. I am worthy to do what I am doing. I can stand toe to toe with others and call them peers. Now do I always remeber that, not at all, but I am getting there.
Bring on the start ups
I have a niche that people love. I can do things others can’t. I can also do things that others can. Most of my clients come to me because of me. The art is always secondary. I love working with my small businesses. I have complete passion to see them succeed and if there is something I can do I want to do it.

When people hire me they get a cheerleader behind them. I will support those clients well after the contract ends. When they have wins it is the best feeling.
The more I probe myself about what this company is the more I get excited about it. I cannot wait to grow and take on more items.
Take note
For clients who are reading this, I am a selftaught artist. I come from a background of learning things on your own. When I find a new way of doing something, a new gadget, a new software, I jump and play. I will never stop learning and growing.
Come along with my journey.
Love it! Developing your brand! It's always tough. I am "me" but I'm also related to the business I run. It's a balance.
